Google Classroom

Students will need to log in with their school email in order to use the link above properly. Classroom is a free web service provided to us through G Suites for Education which makes it easy for learners and instructors to connect—inside and outside of school. All of the classes your student has at Albemarle have a corresponding Google Classroom. Please make sure to speak with your child's teacher regarding the online expectations of each course. 

Student Access  

The Scholastic Reading Inventory is usually administered to students 3 times a year. This test helps give the faculty an understanding of where your student is improving and what assistance, and support might be needed in the future. Administering the test at the beginning, middle and end of the year we can see growth and performance results over the course of the school year. 

Students are able to read books and take quizzes through the Scholastic Reading Counts Program. The students typically are utilizing this program in the library with their library books. Teachers also encourage students to take quizzes to help further comprehension and reading skills.
