Tuition Rates 

Albemarle School is now enrolling students in preschool through twelfth grade for the 2017-18 school year.  The first day of school will be August 14th (Early Release).

We have preschool for 1 to 4-year-olds.  Our kindergarten cutoff date is September 30th. We follow the NC Standard Course of Study and use the Engage New York curriculum for Grades K-12.

We also provide enrichment classes in P.E., Art, Computers, Library, Theater, and Spanish for grades K-5. Our small class sizes and safe and orderly environment ensures success. We are AdvancEd (SACS) accredited and provide certified instructional faculty and staff. Students can obtain college credits while in high school under our dual enrollment program with College of the Albemarle. Our well-rounded curriculum also provides for participation in sports, various clubs, and other extracurricular activities.

Tuition Payment Options

  1.  You may deduct $100.00 from total cost if tuition is paid in full by August 1, 2017.  August 15, 2017
  2. Tuition payments are due the 1st of each month, beginning August 1, 2017, and continuing through May 1, 2018.  In the event that any payment is more than ten (10) days past due, a $20.00 late fee will be added. Albemarle School reserves the right to disenroll any student if his/her account becomes more than three months past due.
  3. There is a multi-child discount starting with the third child, and those financial arrangements can be made with the Finance Officer.

    2. 3rd Child - $500.00 Reduction

Five Days 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m.  $115 weekly
Ages 3-5
Three Days 6:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. $90 weekly
Five Days 6:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. $120 weekly
Five Days 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. $110 weekly


Payment Options

Annual Enrollment Fee: $100.00 

Three Day Program: If your child is enrolled in the three-day program your child may only attend the days designated in your enrollment contract because of staff laws. If you child is absent on a designated day, you still assume payment for the three days.

Payments: Weekly payments for the program selected above with the first payment being due on the first day of attendance. Each payment thereafter is due on the first day of the week until the child is withdrawn by submitting a two-week written notice of withdrawal or the school session ends. Part time attendance is subject to termination at any time due to increase in full-time numbers. Monthly payments are also acceptable and should be made at the beginning of each month.

 Payments not received by Friday of that week will be assessed a $20.00 late fee for EACH week the payment is late. 

Accounts past due over 3 weeks will be subject to dismissal. Re-enrollment only if space is available and all financial obligations have been met. Accounts in default of payment are subject to collection action.
